Special Olympics Gujarat organized 7th State Championship from 2nd to 5th January, 2011.   909 athletes of 23 districts, 19 Doctors, 280 Volunteers, and 115 Officials took part in this event. Torch Run and opening ceremony were organized on 3rd January, 2010.

Entire SOG 7th State Championship was progressed by GMS (Games Management System). Following are the Sports played in this event.

The major strength was in Athletics with 422 athletes, in Aquatics there were 9 athletes, in Badminton 57 athletes were participated, 56 were in Basketball, 197 athletes participated in Bocce, 74 athletes in Cycling, 34 athletes in Football, 9 athletes in Power lifting, 20 athletes in Roller Skating, 24 athletes in table tennis, 36 in handball game and 25 Athletes participated in Volleyball.
